Father's

As it is Father's Day I am bound to say something about the Father's in my life. This is officially Trevan's first Father's Day and I am so proud of my wonderful husband. Trevan was a little upset, or maybe afraid when he found out he was going to be a father but ever since the day that our sweet Jude was born Trevan has been an amazing father. I will never forget the look in Trevan's eyes when he held Jude for the first time, its was so wonderful. Jude loves his Daddy and is always so excited when he comes home from work, he shows it by what Trevan calls "riverdancing" with his legs. I know Trevan will continue to grow into his role as a Father and he looks forward to many of baseball games and wrestling on the floor with his sweet Baby Jude.

I never had any doubts about his fathering skills because his own father, Roger, is so wonderful. I used to pray that Trevan would be a Dad like his and he his. Roger is the ideal Dad and husband for that matter. It is in his new role as Grandpa that Rog shines the most. Jude adores Rog and you can see it in any picture that has them both in it. I can't count how many times Rog will just take Jude from anyone who is holding him and snuggle and play with him. I cannot wait for Jude to get older so he can appreciate the Father figures in his life.

Now last but defiantly not least is my Dad Mike. I can't say too much bad about him because I am so much like him myself. Infact, one of my favorite things about me is my Dad. My Dad was a different Father than most but he was perfect for me. As a child no one could handle me but my Dad. He was always able to help things make sense for me and make me understand things, he could get through to me when no one else could. No one can make you laugh like my Dad and he is always there for you when you need him. I will always look up to him and look forward to taking care of him in his old age as he has requested.
