Yellowstone 2007

i got to go on my 1st family vacation with the gregory's after 5 years. we went to yellowstone and did it the gregory way. that entails staying in west yellowstone at the pony express motel and getting up everyday and seeing every part of yellowstone. terri packed us lunches everyday and we ate along the road at picnic sites. we were there for 4 days and had so much fun. i love my new family as if they were my own. we laughed a lot and only got sick of each other when the 2 children misbehaved, meaning trevan and landon.

the highlight of everyones trip was jude. he was so much fun and kept us on our toes. he says some pretty funny stuff these dayts. jude came home with a whole new vocabulary and yes he does know the difference between an elk and a moose.

my favorite animal in yellowstone is by far and above the buffalo. i love many things about them, mostly there cropped bell bottoms they sport on their front hooves. if you want i will make my buffalo noise for you and so will jude!

jude did EXCEPTIONALLY well the entire time. we were in the car at least 6 hours everyday and he just carried on regardless. i did however come prepared.

jude didn't love old faithful, he kept saying "dinky". he cannot tell a lie.

okay, so we drove around northern yellowstone TWICE to try to find us some bears. how can you be in yellowstone for 4 days and not see one? well we managed. however, once we got to jackson lake lodge on our way home there was one in a tree. (its the black mass in the pine tree) we waited for a half an hour for it to come down and watched it walk away. it was miraculous and if i ever find my cable that connects my video camera to the computer i will show you.
