we moved jude into a big boy bed. we have been talking to him about it for about 2 months and we finally took to step, a giant step. i have to say i was not ready for him to do it, he is still my baby after all. realistically he didn't even "need" to move into a big boy bed because we bought sissy her own new crib. however, i already bought the bedding and accessories for his "airplane" room so i needed to put them to use. we just converted jude's crib into a full size bed. his room decor is not completely finished so i will post when it is. we still have some things to hang etc.all and all jude has done great with the change. he goes to bed all by himself (after stories) and stays in bed all night. he gets up earlier but oh well. the best news is he still takes naps everyday even in his big bed for at least 2 hours and that means mommie gets a nap too! he is my hero!
jude is quite thrilled with the idea of having is own bed. its HUGE for him and he loves it. let the bouncing begin.
not sure what jude's smile is in this picture but he and his daddie are sure cute!
sweetums goes beddy bye.....(and yes he is mother's son and will not sleep in sheets. silky only, please!)

You are so brave. I can't quite make that giant leap yet. I'm pretty sure Jack would not willingly take a nap in a big boy bed.
