six weeks old 6 weeks old

i can't really believe that 6 weeks have passed. this little girl is an angel. i thought jude was a good baby, she is amazing. we had a 6 week check up today and here are the results:

8.8 lbs (10th percentile)
21 1/4 inches (25th percentile)

she is pretty little still, which is so foreign to me. jude was always on the big side, he is only now becoming average. most of her clothes still drown her and she still wears newborn diapers. maybe one day she will chub up, i love rolly polly babies. dr. cramer is bit concerned about her vision. she used to do this shaky thing with her head and her eyes shook too. that has stopped but she never really focuses or looks at me and he noticed that too. we are going in another 6 weeks to check her again. this problem may root from her distress when she was born and in-utero. we found out her cord pH levels were pretty low and that proves she was in major distress and we don't know for how long. a low cord pH level can sometimes cause brain damage and other problems. so we will found out in time what the long term effects of that will be on grets. par for the coarse for us. we don't have great luck. we do have great luck however in making good babies. greta is perfect and i am loving every inch of her! beautiful girl.

Holy Smokes!!! I love, love, love her! She's so yummy! You always say you want her to stay tiny so there you are! And you were worried "Greta" might be large and in charge :) XOXOXOXOXOXO Nannie

She is amazing! She is so tiny and sweet. I understand the stress of not passing a test. Jax failed the hearing test the first time, and I about freaked. But, after a little more time getting use to the big, scary world he passed. So, hopefully little Miss Greta's eyes are just taking their own adjusting time. PS Right after I saw you walking the neighborhood wearing your Baby Bjorn, I went out and got one. haha Love it!!

Hey Kennan! This jerk guy posted on our blog, I had no idea who he was, so I clicked on his blog..he had a picture of my sister in law up with the title "That is one scary looking chick!" HORRIBLE!!! We aren't sure who this person is, but it makes it scary that he randomly found our blog. We are just trying to avoid him getting any info about anyone in the fam.
Sad huh!!!!

What an adorable little girl you have! Amber and I will be in Utah in August, we have really got to get together! It has been a really long time.

You asked where we are. We are in Marina del Rey for the summer. It is about 10 miles southwest of Los Angeles. Tim is working at a law firm in LA for the summer. It has been amazing so far.
