beautiful greta was blessed this past sunday. trevan did a wonderful job blessing her and was only a tad nervous. i have to say i am still recovering from the event. i worked my butt of to get our house into shape. our yard was a disaster on monday and by saturday night it was a totally different story. trev worked all week in the yard and terri worked MIRACLES with the flowers. i stayed inside, but it was beast to tackle as well. i finally decorated the basement after 6 months! our little house did great hosting the 40+ that supported our little grets.
i am so grateful for my family. we had a huge turn out and it meant so much to me that people actually showed. so many aunts and uncles and even my cousin jodi from arizona! the best part was that my sister robyn drove all the way up from st. george with tuck & abe just to be here. it was a total surprise! she was leaving for california for with her 4 kids in the following days but managed to make it. i love her. she got me to cry and thats really hard for someone on antidepressants to do!
it was a perfect day. greta was of course beautiful. unfortunately she was sick with a cold and a bad cough but being the trooper that she is no one would have known if it wasn't for her cough. she cooed the entire blessing and then fell fast asleep in my arms after it was over. i love that girl.

She looks beautiful Kennan, and it all looks like it went very well. I am so sorry we couldn't be there.... I was thinking about you guys all day as Nate and I just sat around all Sunday after church. Seeing the Grets blessing would have been a happy trade. I'll be there for the next for sure! I promise. well the day was fab, but what? no pictures of me? not only am i soo talented, but you forgot to mention how gorgeous i really am. stop being jealous.
seriously, though it was a beatuiful blessing, and i am still foaming at the mouth over gret's gown... it is amazing and i love her. i loved snugglying her during the movine tonight.. but only after she started scarfing all my popcorn.
