the greg's get (more) pumpkins

because jude's 7 (thats right, 7) pumpkins that we have collected over the past month in his room aren't enough, we went to get more pumpkins as a family tonight. i wanted to do the real pumpkin patch experience so we went out to schmidts pumpkin patch in west jordan. it was really big and pretty inexpensive but the weather was a little cold for our taste. of course, jude was ecstatic and was upset when he found out the 3 pumpkins we purchased would not be going in his room but soon calmed when he was told that the 3 mini pumpkins that nannie bought him (against his parents wishes) could. the kid loves pumpkins.

i wish that you could see what is in jude's hands.... he felt the need to bring his pumpkin carving set and his frankenstein card from yaya. can you blame him? i love him.

the best part of the night was that nannie and grandpa mike joined us. my dad actually left utah county, crazy.

we ate delectable crown burger after but our evening was cut short when we heard devastating news about my uncle tim. my mom rushed down to be with my aunt holley at the hospital. he suffered a heart attack and a stroke and is currently in the ICU. not the best way to end your day..... his family is in our prayers, we love you kay family!

Time for you guys to try 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. I know of 2 times you've gone to the Crown recently when I've been raving about 5 Guys. You're on notice! No really it's pretty dang good, you should try it. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. Hopefully he's alright.

Okay, this totally made me laugh. I am pretty sure I got excited about pumpkins when I was little, however never upset and emotional about them. He is super cute all bundled up. And BTW, crown burger. . . . LOVE IT.
I hope your uncle is okay.
